Welcome to Gobi. These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the Gobi website and to purchases made through our online store.
By using our website or placing an order with Gobi, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Australian law and are subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
1. About Gobi
Gobi is an Australian pet lifestyle brand creating fun, functional and thoughtfully designed products for dogs and their humans.
In these Terms & Conditions, “Gobi”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Gobi, and “you” or “your” refers to the customer using our website or purchasing our products.
2. Products
We do our best to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, dimensions and other information on our website are accurate.
However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen settings. As our products may be handmade or produced from natural or individual materials, minor variations in colour, finish, shape or appearance may occur.
These variations are not considered defects where they are consistent with the nature of the product.
Product dimensions and specifications are provided as a guide. Please check the product information carefully before purchasing.
3. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your order.
Your order will be confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and we have accepted the order.
We reserve the right to cancel an order where, for example:
- a product is unavailable;
- there has been an obvious pricing or product description error;
- we suspect fraudulent or unauthorised activity; or
- we are unable to fulfil the order for another legitimate reason.
If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will refund the amount paid for the affected order.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
Payment must be received before an order is processed and shipped.
Gobi reserves the right to correct pricing errors or inaccuracies on the website. If an obvious pricing error affects an order you have placed, we will contact you before proceeding with the order.
5. Shipping and delivery
Orders are shipped using Australia Post.
We aim to dispatch orders within 1–3 business days after your order has been placed.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information where tracking is available.
Delivery times may vary depending on your location, Australia Post processing times, public holidays, peak periods and circumstances outside our control.
Free shipping
Gobi offers free shipping on orders over $150 AUD within the applicable delivery areas specified at checkout.
Shipping charges for orders under $150 will be $12 Flat Rate before payment is made.
Gobi is not responsible for delays caused by the postal carrier after an order has been dispatched, although we will do our best to assist you in locating a delayed or missing parcel.
Please ensure your delivery address is correct before completing your order.
6. Returns and change of mind
We want you to love your Gobi purchase.
If you change your mind about a product, please contact us at withgobi@gmail.com as soon as possible.
Change-of-mind returns are subject to Gobi's applicable return conditions, including that the product is unused, in its original condition and, where reasonably possible, in its original packaging.
Unless otherwise stated, return postage for change-of-mind returns is the responsibility of the customer.
A change-of-mind return is separate from your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
Please contact us at withgobi@gmail.com if your order arrives damaged, faulty, defective or different from what you ordered.
Where appropriate, we may ask you to provide photographs or other information so that we can assess the issue.
If a product does not meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances and whether the failure is major or minor.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
These rights apply in addition to any voluntary return policy or warranty offered by Gobi.
9. Product use and safety
Our products are designed for pets and should be used appropriately and under suitable supervision.
You are responsible for selecting products that are appropriate for your pet and for following any care, cleaning and usage instructions provided with the product.
Do not use a product if it becomes damaged or unsafe.
For products that are intended for feeding, enrichment or food contact, please follow the care and cleaning instructions provided with the product.
Gobi products are not intended to replace veterinary advice. If you have concerns about your pet's health, diet, behaviour or safety, please consult your veterinarian.
10. Promotions and discount codes
From time to time, Gobi may offer promotional codes, discounts, sales or other special offers.
Unless otherwise stated:
- promotional codes must be entered at checkout;
- only one promotional code may be used per order;
- promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
- promotions cannot be applied retrospectively to previous orders; and
- promotional offers may be subject to additional conditions stated at the time of the promotion.
Gobi reserves the right to withdraw or amend a promotion where permitted by law.
11. Intellectual property
All content on the Gobi website, including photographs, product designs, graphics, logos, illustrations, text, branding and other materials, belongs to Gobi or is used with permission.
You must not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or commercially use Gobi's content, branding or designs without our written permission.
12. Website use
We aim to keep our website accurate, secure and available, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free or available.
You agree not to use the website for unlawful purposes or in a way that could damage, disrupt or interfere with the website or its security.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gobi is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from the misuse of our products, failure to follow product instructions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified under Australian law.

When you place an order or interact with our website, we may collect personal information such as your name, contact details, delivery address and order information.
We use this information to process orders, provide customer service, arrange delivery and otherwise operate our business.
